NBA Playoffs Milwaukee Bucks vs Chicago Bulls Betting Odds Game 5 Free Pick

The NBA playoffs continue on Monday night and we will see the Milwaukee Bucks travel to the United Center to take on the Chicago Bulls in game 5 of their best-of-seven series. Free Pick to follow. The game has a start time of 5:30 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on NBATv. Current Vegas betting odds have Chicago listed as 8.5 point favorites, while the total is set at 187.5.

Analysis: The Milwaukee Bucks made it to the playoffs with a 41-41 mark, but really they haven't played well for much of the 2nd half of the year. They have gone 11-21 in their last 32 game, but did pick up a big win in game 3 to live to fight another day. The Bucks have gone just 18-25 on the road this year. Milwaukee has gone 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and 7-18-2 ATS in their last 27 Conference Quarterfinals games. The Bucks have scored 97.3 ppg on 45.0% shooting overall and 34.5% from long range on the road this year. Defensively they have been solid on the road allowing just 98.6 pg on 43.9% shooting overall and 33.3% shooting from long range.

The Chicago Bulls won the first two games of this series at home and then took Game 3 of this series in Milwaukee, but the Bucks staved elimination with a big 92-90 win. Now they have a shot to end the series on their home floor, where they are 29-14 on the year. The Bulls have gone 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS loss and 8-2 ATS the last 10 in the series.  Chicago has scored 101.7 ppg on 43.9% shooting overall and 34.8% from long range at home this year. Defensively they have been solid at home, allowing just 97.1 pg on 43.0% shooting overall and 33.3% shooting from long range.

Pick: Milwaukee had their fifteen minutes of fame, but now the party is over. Chicago handled them pretty well at home and now coming off the loss i expect them to be fully focused here and bounce back strong. The Bulls just have too many weapons on offense and their defense has been stifling at home. I don't see how the Bucks keep this one close, especially with the Bulls having a rejuvenated Derrick Rose on their side. I look for about a 12 point win by the Bulls here.
