Today the Arkansas Razorbacks will do battle with the North Carolina Tar Heels at Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida in the 3rd round of the NCAA Tournament. The game has a start time of 8:40 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on TNT. Current Vegas betting odds have the Tar Heels listed as 4.5 point favorites, while the total is set at 158. 

Analysis: The Arkansas Razorbacks had a very nice season as they come in with a 29-6 record that's included a 2nd place finish in the SEC and a 2nd round 56-53 victory over Wofford on Thursday. The Hogs have now won 14 of their last 18 games overall, so they look poised to make a solid run at a Final Four berth. The Razorbacks have gone 7-15 ATS in their last 22 neutral site games and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 NCAA Tournament games. Arkansas has been a very good offensive team this year, ranking 19th in scoring (77.4 ppg), 101st in shooting (44.8%), 140th in 3 point shooting (35.1%) and 75th in FT shooting (72.1%). The defense for this team has not been that good as they come in ranked 268th in points allowed (69.7 ppg), 162nd in defensive FG% (42.7%) and 226th in 3 point defense (35.1%).   

The North Carolina Tar Heels have had another solid which has included a trip to the Finals of the ACC Tournament before losing to Notre Dame. In their second round game vs Harvard the Heels had a really battle before finally winning it by a score of 67-65. For the year Carolina in now 25-11 overall, which includes an 8-2 mark on neutral courts. The Tar Heels have gone 18-7-1 ATS in their last 26 vs. the SEC, but 4-11-1 ATS in their last 16 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. North Carolina has been a very good offensive team this year, ranking 16th in scoring (77.6 ppg), 22nd in shooting (47.7%), 145th in 3 point shooting (35.0%) and 143rd in FT shooting (69.9%). The defense for this team has not been that good as they come in ranked 232nd in points allowed (68.3 ppg), 41st in defensive FG% (39.7%) and 11th in 3 point defense (29.9%).      

Pick: I like the Under in this game. Both of these teams can score a ton, but this is tournament ball and i expect the defenses to tighten up and keep the scoring down here. The Heels have not been all that bad defensively of late as they have allowed 67 or less i 8 of their last 10 games and they have allowed just 57.9 ppg in their 10 neutral site games this year. Arkansas's defense has not been that good this year, but their offense has also gone down some, as they have averaged just 59.7 ppg in their last 3 games. I feel the OU line is a just a bit high for this game.
