The Kansas Jayhawks welcome in the TCU Horned Frogs today in Big 12 College Basketball action. The game is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. Currently the Betting Odds for the game have the Jayhawks favored by double digits to get the win.
Kansas is coming into this game fresh off a loss on the road at West Virginia. Bill Self's team is just 2-2 in the last four games overall but they still are looking at a potential first or second seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Jayhawks are going to be favored in each of the next four games overall and could be in their final game at Oklahoma as well. Heading into this game today, Kansas still owns a full game lead over Iowa State in the Big 12 standings.
TCU is second to last in the conference standings, but has won two straight overall with victories over Oklahoma State and Kansas State. Prior to those wins the Horned Frogs had dropped seven straight. The Frogs are not a great team on either end of the floor, but they do play at such a slow pace that the defense allows them to hang around in games they shouldn't be in. In fact, the two most recent wins for TCU was the school's first back-to-back conference wins. TCU is a very poor 5-44 in league play since joining the conference in 2012-13.
Kansas at Phog Allen is nearly impossible to beat as they've lost only five times the last 140 contests. This year that had been true as the Jayhawks have picked up 12 wins in 12 games on their own floor. The Jayhawks are loaded with talent yet again and shouldn't be looking ahead in this one. Kansas has a record of 8-1 all-time against TCU and they've won all three games on their own floor.
This game shouldn't be close and it won't be. Kansas is the class of the conference and even though TCU has won a couple in a row, they're not winning at Phog.
