The 13th-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels take on the 10th-ranked Louisville Cardinals later today in ACC College Basketball action. The game is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. Currently the Betting Odds for the game have the Cardinals favored by a comfortable margin in this one.

North Carolina seems like a good enough team on paper, but they are getting nearly six points in this game against Louisville. The Cardinals are very good in home games, having won 11 of their 13 contests there with the only losses coming against Kentucky and Duke. This game today marks the start of three consecutive games against ranked teams for the Cardinals with road games against Miami and Virginia on the horizon. 

Terry Rozier leads the Cardinals in scoring this season at better than 18 points per game. Montrezl Harrell is the most well-known of the Louisville team though with his monster dunks, bigtime blocks on defense and overall dominant stature. Harrell is going to have his work cut out for him in this game today against a Carolina front line that is very skilled. 

Louisville comes into this afternoon's game with some in-season revenge, having lost to Carolina by a single point a few weeks ago. Marcus Paige made a layup late in that game to give the Tar Heels the win. Kennedy Meeks and Brice Johnson both finished in double figures along with J.P. Tokoto as the Tar Heels have many options offensively.

The Cardinals should pick up the win here in a closer game as it's hard to see Carolina getting beat up too bad in this one.
