The 24th-ranked Seton Hall Pirates welcome in the DePaul Blue Demons tonight in Big East College Basketball action. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on FOX Sports 1. Currently the odds for the game have the Pirates favored by double digits to get the job done.

Seton Hall is once again ranked in the polls, coming in at No. 24 this week. The Pirates are welcoming in a DePaul team that has been up and down this season and very streaky. DePaul looked decent to start the season, winning six of their first seven games, but then the Blue Demons stumbled by losing their next six.

And yet, DePaul has found a way to open the Big East season with a 4-2 record. Tonight opens a three-game road string for the Blue Demons, which won't be easy for them against tough teams, including Xavier and Providence after this one tonight. It only gets tougher after that as well, taking on Villanova and Seton Hall again the two games after that.

Tonight, Seton Hall will look to win the battle on the glass. The Blue Demons are not a good rebounding team and Seton Hall has been pretty solid in that department so far this season. Tough losses to Xavier and Butler in the last three games have dinged up the Pirates in the win/loss column, but several games within the next few weeks are absolutely winnable. 

Sterling Gibbs leads the Pirates at 17.2 points per game while Isaiah Whitehead was a 12-point per game guy before being hurt. Seton Hall, though, should be able to get some big games from their wings tonight against DePaul tonight, even with the Blue Demons looking to slow them down. DePaul, though, has four of their starters averaging double-digits per game, led by Myke Henry and Billy Garrett Jr. with 13.3 points per game. 

While DePaul has been able to get some wins in the Big East, taking on a Seton Hall team that is 8-1, but is coming off their only home loss to Butler. Look for them to be better focused in this game tonight as they beat up on DePaul.
