Oregon Ducks vs Washington Huskies Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

Sunday night college basketball and we will see the Oregon Ducks travel to the Alaska Airlines Arena to take on the Washington Huskies. The game has a start time of 8:30 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on ESPN U. Current Vegas betting odds have Washington listed as 4 point favorites, while the total is set at 142.

Analysis:  The Oregon Ducks come in having lost 2 of their last 3 games, which include a wild 108-99 OT loss at Washington State in their last game. Oregon is now 12-5 overall, which includes 2-2 in the Pac-12. The Ducks are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. loss, but 5-12 ATS in the last 17 meetings in Washington and 1-5-2 ATS in their last 8 games after scoring more than 90 points in their previous game. Oregon has been a very good offensive team as they come in ranked 26th in scoring (77.8 ppg), 83rd in shooting (45.6%), 161st in 3 point shooting (34.7%) and 29th in FT shooting (74.2%). Defensively the Ducks have not been that good, ranking 272nd in points allowed (70.1 ppg), 58th in defensive FG% (39.4%) and 249th in 3 point defense (35.3%).

The Washington Huskies have struggled of late, as they have won just 1 of their last 5 games, while starting their Pac-12 season with a 1-3 mark. That lone was was in their last game, which was at home vs Oregon State. The Huskies are now 12-4 on the year, including 6-2 at home. Washington is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game, but just 1-6 ATS in their last 7 vs. Pacific-12 and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. The Huskies have been a defensive offensive squad this year, ranking 133rd in scoring (69.9 ppg), 126th in shooting (44.5%), 279th in 3 point shooting (30.7%) and 269th in FT shooting (66.0%). The defense for this team has been very solid, ranking 53rd in points allowed (61.0 ppg), 7th in defensive FG% (35.4%) and 59th in 3 point defense (30.3%).

Pick:  I will go with the Under in this one. Oregon can be slowed down as we note that they have scored 71 or less in 4 of their last 5 games and they will be taking on a Washington team that has allowed just 56.5 ppg on 32.3% shooting at home. On offense the Huskies play at rather a a slow pace and they average just 68.6 ppg at home. Washington is also poor from the FT line and they hit just 25.7% of their Treys at home. Washington will find a way to slow this game and keep it in the 60's.
