Friday Night NBA Cleveland Cavaliers vs Golden State Warriors Betting Odds, Free Pick

Friday night NBA and we will see the Cleveland Cavaliers travel to Oracle Arena to take on the Golden State Warriors. The game has a start time of 10:30 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on TNT. Current Vegas betting odds have Golden State listed as 12 point favorites, while the total is set at 206.

Analysis: Cleveland Cavalier fans expected big things from their team now that Lebron James is back in town, but that really hasn't happened so far as they are just 19-17 on the year and they have gone just 1-6 in their last 7 games, which includes a bad road loss to the lowly Sixers. Making matters worse for this team is that now they are without Lebron for another week or so. The Cavs are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record, 1-9 ATS in their last 10 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game and 2-8 ATS the last 10 meetings n this series. Cleveland has been an average offensive team this year, ranking 17th in scoring (100.4 ppg), 18th in shooting, 20th in 3 point shooting and 12th in FT shooting. Defensively the Cavs have been average as well, ranking 17th in points allowed (99.5 ppg), 27th in defensive FG% and 18th in 3 point defense.

The Golden State Warriors come in with the best record in the NBA as they are 28-5 overall, including a sparkling 15-1 at home. The Warriors have now won 6 in a row after losing back to back games to the Clippers and Lakers and they currently have a 5.5 game lead of the Clippers in the Pacific Division. The Warriors are 22-7 ATS in their last 29 games following a S.U. win and 19-7 ATS in their last 26 home games. Golden State has been a very good offensive team, ranking 1st in scoring (109.2 ppg), 1st in shooting, 3rd in 3 point shooting and 9th in FT shooting. Defensively they have been very solid, ranking 11th in points allowed (98.3 ppg), 1st in defensive FG% and 3rd in 3 point defense.

Pick: Gonna suggest a play on the Warriors tonight. I just can't see this Cleveland team hanging with the best team in the NBA without Lebron. The Warriors have gone 15-1 at home this year and have outscored their opponents by 15,8 ppg in those games. Cleveland averages 99.5 pg on the road, but that number will come down with out Lebron in there and that really makes it hard for me to think that they can score enough vs a team that averages 113.8 ppg at home to keep this one close. Easy win by the Warriors here.
