Sunday NFL and we will see the New Orleans Saints take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The game has a start time of 1:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on FOX. Current Vegas odds have the Saints listed as 4 point favorites, while the total is set at 46.5.  

Analysis: The New Orleans Saints will be sitting home for the playoffs this year. They had a shot at making them but lost at home to Atlanta last week, which was their 5th home loss in a row. The Saints are 3-4 on the road this year. The saints are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games, but just 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games in Week 17 and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. NFC South. New Orleans is a strong offensive club, ranking 1st in total yards, 3rd in passing, 12th in rushing and 10th in scoring (25.2 ppg). The defense for the Saints has been awful, ranking 31st in total yards allowed, 29th vs the pass, 29th vs the run and 29th in points allowed (26.9 ppg).

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had another miserable year as they come in at 2-13 on the year, which includes a dismal 0-7 mark at home. The Bucs are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a ATS loss, but just 15-36-1 ATS in their last 52 home games and 8-22-1 ATS in their last 31 games in December. Tampa Bay has been an awful offensive team this year, ranking 31st in total yards, 23rd in passing, 31st in rushing and 28th in scoring (17.1 ppg). The defense hasn't been much better for this team, as they come in ranked 26th in yards allowed, 20th vs the pass 26th vs the run and 26th in points allowed (25.8 ppg). 

Pick: Im gonna take a shot with a saints team that has played better on the road than at home this year. The Saints are 3-4 on the road, while the Bucs have gone a miserable 0-7 on their home field for the year, getting outscored by 10.5 ppg in the process. Neither team has anything to play for, but the Bucs do have a shot at the number 1 pick with a loss here. Could they really tank it here? Not sure but no matter what the Saints have the much better talent in this game and they will look to end the season on a high note with a rout vs team that just may not put up much of a fight in this one. The Bucs have averaged just 13.4 pg at home, while the Saints have put up 27.4 ppg on the road. Saints by DD in this one.
