NFL Week 15 and the Miami Dolphins will travel to Gillette Stadium to take on the New England Patriots. The game has a start time of 1:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on CBS. Current Vegas odds have New England listed as 7.5 point favorites, while the total is set at 48.  

Analysis: The Miami Dolphins have not really played well of late as they have lost 2 of their last 3 games, with that lone win being by just 3 points over the lowly New York Jets. Miami is now 7-6 on the year and in a 2nd place tie with the Bills in the AFC East. The Dolphins are 30-12 ATS in their last 42 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games in Week 15, but just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games on fieldturf. Miami has been an average offensive squad this year, ranking 21st in total yards, 23rd in passing, 12th in rushing and 13th in scoring (24.2 ppg). The defense for Miami has been very good this year, ranking 6th in yards allowed, 3rd vs the pass, 22nd vs the run and 8th in points allowed (20 ppg). 

The New England Patriots shook off their tough loss to the packers to win a big game in San Diego last week, 23-14. The Patriots are now 10-3 on the year and have a 3 game lead in the AFC East over both the Bills and Dolphins. The Patriots are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. AFC, but just  11-24 ATS in their last 35 games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game. The Pats are a strong offensive squad that comes in ranked 7th in total offense 7th in passing, 19th in rushing and 3rd in scoring (30.8 ppg). On defense the Patriots have been decent, ranking 13th in yards allowed, 17th vs the pass, 12th vs the run and 9th in points allowed (20.5 ppg). 

Pick: I will be going with the Patriots in this one. This is a team that has been awesome with divisional revenge and Belichick is 22-6 ATS at home with revenge vs an opponent off a SU loss. The Pats have a ground attack now that can compliment their passing game and that is not good for a Miami team that has been gashed on the ground of late, allowing 220.3 ypg rushing on 5.7 ypc in their last 3 games. Look for the Pats to use their 6 lineman attack to get the ground game going and then hit Miami over the top with some big passing plays. Miami just won't come up with enough offense to keep this one close, especially with the Pats being at home and with revenge. Pats by at least 14 here.
