Analysis: The Louisville Cardinals come into this game ranked number 4 in the nation with a 7-0 record. they are 1-0 in neutral site games and have won 8 straight games at MSG. The cardinals are 23-8 ATS in their last 31 neutral site games and 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 vs. Big Ten, but just 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Louisville comes in ranked 59th in scoring (76 ppg), but they are not a great shooting team, ranking 144th in FG%, 306th in 3pt shooting and 340th in FT shooting. The defense for the Cardinals has been exceptional, ranking 3rd in points allowed (49.3 ppg), 2nd in defensive FG% (31.2%) and 4th in 3 pt defense (22.8 %). 

The Hoosiers have had a nice start to their year, as they come in at 7-1, with their lone loss being by 2 points at home to Eastern Washington. The Hoosiers have won 10 of the 16 meetings between these teams. The Hoosiers are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 Tuesday games, but just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS win and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games after allowing less than 50 points in their previous game. The Hoosiers have been a strong offensive team, ranking 4th in scoring (88.4 ppg), 9th in shooting (52.4%), 6th in 3 point shooting (44.1%) and 32nd in FT shooting (74.7%). The defense for the Hoosiers has not been great, ranking 237th in points allowed (69.2 ppg), 229th in defensive FG% (43.7%) and 157th in 3 point defense (32.7%).    

Pick:  I will look at the under in this game. The Hoosiers have put up some nice offensive numbers this year, but all of that was done at home and very weak schedule. I guarantee that they will not even come close to sniffing the 88 ppg they have put this year, vs this tough Louisville defense that has allowed just 49.3 ppg and just 31.2% shooting. This is a suffocating defense for sure and will not let Indiana get comfortable at the offensive end of the floor. The Indiana defense is not great, but still allow just 69.7 ppg, and while Louisville does average 76 ppg, they are not a good shooting team and are horrible from long range and the Charity stripe. 72-59 sounds about right for this one.
