The San Francisco 49ers travel across the bay to take on the Oakland Raiders in NFL Sunday action. The game is scheduled for a 4:25 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on FOX. Currently the odds for the game have the 49ers favored on the road in this one.
San Francisco has a lot going on in recent weeks. They've battled inconsistent play, rumors their coach is heading back to his alma mater at the University of Michigan and now they're sitting in third place for the division. Even at 7-5 in the win/loss column the 49ers are still not out of it yet, but it could dry up real quick.
Collin Kaepernick has to play better for the 49ers. They're coming off a terrible 19-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks last week but Oakland is coming off probably even worse of a loss in getting drilled by the St. Louis Rams 52-0.
With two teams coming off embarrassing losses, which team will bounce back in this one and pick up the win? It's probably going to be hard for Oakland to beat the 49ers as the Raiders are really not a good football team. They are horrendous offensively, ranking 27th in the league through the air at 207 yards per game and dead last in rushing yards at just 72.5 per contest. They're also playing a 49ers defense that is very good against both and is starting to get healthier.
This game should favor the 49ers and if they can play well, there should be no doubt in this one. San Fran will run the ball, Kaepernick won't make mistakes and the defense should keep the Raiders in check.
