Thursday night NFL and we will see the Dallas Cowboys take on the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois. The game has a start time of 8:30 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on the NFL Network. Current Vegas odds have Dallas listed as 3.5 point favorites, while the total is set at 51.  

Analysis:  The Dallas Cowboys come in having won just 2 of their last 5 games after their 6-1 start. The Cowboys are now in secod place in the NFC East and they have gone 5-0 on the road this year. Dallas is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game, but 3-12-2 ATS in their last 17 games in Week 14 and 8-20 ATS vs. a team with a losing record. Dallas has been a solid offensive squad this year, ranking 8th in total offense, 17th in passing, 3rd in rushing and 9th in scoring (25.2 ppg). The defense for Dallas has been average, ranking 22nd in yards allowed, 20th vs the pass, 22nd vs the run and 16th in points allowed (22.8 ppg. 

The Chicago Bears have not had a good year so far as they come into this game at 5-7, which has them in a last place tie with the Vikings in the NFC North. The Bears did lose their first 3 games at home, but have since won their last 2 here. The Bears are 7-15 ATS in their last 22 games following a SU loss of more than 14 points and 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 Thursday games. The Bears offense has been below average this year, ranking 20th in total yards, 14th in passing, 26th in rushing and 21st in scoring (21.1 ppg). The defense for Chicago has been poor this year, ranking 26th in yards allowed, 29th vs the pass, 11th vs the run and 30th in points allowed.   

Pick: I will be looking at the over in this game. The Dallas defense has been solid for much of the year, but they are starting to show some chicks in the armor having allowed 26.5 ppg in their last 4 games. Now they take on a bears offense that has all the weapons to put up big points on Dallas here, plus they are in desperation mode and will throw all they can offensively at this overrated Dallas defense. They will have to if they hope they can in as theyr defense hasn't stopped any good offenses this year. This is a bad defense, but even worse when they have faced offenses that can score and Dallas is 9th in the league in scoring, putting up 25.2 ppg. This has the feel of a 31-28 type game.
