NFL Football New England Patriots at Green Bay Packers Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

Packers' Aaron Rodgers Records 4th Straight Game with 3 Touchdowns, No Picks

The Green Bay Packers at New England Patriots meet up in the biggest game of the day in NFL Football action. The game is scheduled for a 4:25 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on CBS. Currently the odds for the game have the Packers favored at home to pick up the win.

This might be the biggest game of the year to this point in the season. Both Green Bay and New England lead their respective divisions and many think these two could meet up in the Super Bowl in a couple of months. Both teams downplayed the talk this week, saying they were focused on the game at hand today.

Green Bay playing at home is very good, going 5-0 this season. When they're at home Aaron Rodgers takes his game to another level as well, with staggering numbers — 656 yards in the previous two home games with 18 TDs without an interception in 144 passing attempts. That's just the last two games, but he's been on fire all season with better than 2,900 yards with 30 touchdowns with only three picks on the year. Rodgers leads the league in passer rating as well, clocking a 119.3 number so far this year.

Tom Brady isn't half bad, either. Brady and the Patriots have been dominating opponents all season with 26 touchdowns and nearly 3,000 yards through the air. Both of their losses on the year have come on the road, which is why the Packers are favored in this close game.

The Patriots have won seven in a row since the beat down in Kansas City on Monday night earlier this season. Since then they've been arguably the best team in the league but get a real test here today in frigid Lambeau Field.

This game is going to be a great one as both offenses should be able to move the ball down the field and score some points. Both defenses are playing better this year compared to the past few seasons and that will make this game even better. Between two great quarterbacks, great coaches and improving defenses, the team that makes the least mistakes picks up the win.

Today, that's the Packers at home in a close one.

Free Pick: Green Bay 31, New England 28
