Sunday NFL and we will see the Tennessee Titans take on the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa. The game has a start time of 1:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on CBS. Current Vegas odds have the Eagles listed as 11 point favorites, while the total is set at 48.5.  

Analysis:  The Tennessee Titans are having a rough year so far as they come into this game with a 2-8 record overall, including a 1-4 record on the road. Got to wonder how much they have left in the tank after a hard fought 3 point loss to Pittsburgh at home on Monday night. The Titans are 10-1 ATS in their 6th road game of the year if vs a non-division opponent, but also  8-21-1 ATS in their last 30 games following a ATS win and 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. loss. The Titans have not been a good offensive team, ranking 31st in total yards, 25th in passing, 26th in rushing and 30th in scoring (16.8 ppg). The defense for this team has been rather average, ranking 21st in yards allowed, 9th vs the pass, 31st vs the run and 19th in points allowed (25.0 ppg).

Philadelphia is off an embarrassing road loss to the Packers, in which Green Bay beat them 53-20. The loss dropped Philadelphia to 7-3 on the year and into a tie with the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East. The Eagles are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games in November and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a S.U. loss, but just 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game. The Eagles have been a solid offensive team this year, ranking 4th in total yards, 4th in passing, 14th in rushing and 4th in scoring (29.9 ppg). The defense for this team has not been great as they rank 26th in yards allowed, 28th vs the pass, 20th vs the run, but are 20th in points allowed (25.1 ppg).

Pick: I am going with the Eagles in his game. They were thoroughly embarrassed last week at Green Bay, while Tennessee is off a short week and off a very physical and draining battle with the Steelers on Monday night. This is not a good spot for the Titans. The Eagles have been very good at home, outscoring their opponents by 15.4 ppg, while Tennessee has been outs cored by 10 ppg on the road. The Eagles are 9-1 ATS off a DD loss in which they allowed 40 or more points, while the Titans are just 1-9 ATS off a non-division Monday night game. I look for the Eagles to bounce back big in this one.
