NFL Week 11 concludes tonight as the Pittsburgh Steelers will travel to LP Field to take on the Tennessee Titans. The game has a start time of 8:35 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on ESPN. Current Vegas odds have Pittsburgh listed as 5.5 point favorites, while the total is set at 47.  

Analysis:  The Pittsburgh Steelers have won 3 of their last 4 games to put their record at 6-4 on the year. The did get shocked in New York last week with a 20-13 loss, but still they are just a half game behind the Cincinnati Bengals in  the very tough AFC North. The Steelers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games in November, but also 6-20-1 ATS in their last 27 road games vs. a team with a losing home record and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 meetings in Tennessee. The Steelers have been a very solid offensive team this year, ranking 4th in total offense, 4th in passing, 15th in rushing and 9th in scoring (26.1 ppg). The defense has been rather average for this team, as they come in ranked 13th in yards allowed, 15th vs the pass, 12th vs the run and 20th in points allowed (23.9 ppg).

The Tennessee Titans are in the midst of a rough year as they have won just 1 of their last 8 games, which now has them sitting with a 2-7 record on the year overall, including a 1-3 record at home. The Titans are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 Monday games and the dog is 5-1 the last 6 in the series, but are also 1-9-1 ATS in their last 11 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. The Titans are a very poor offensive squad, ranking 31st in total yards, 27th in passing, 23rd in rushing and 31st is scoring (16 ppg). The defense has been average at best, ranking 21st in yards allowed, 12th vs the pass, 29th vs the run and 21st in points allowed (24.8 ppg).

Pick: I will be going with the under in this one, plus I will suggest a teaser on the Steelers -.5 and Under 52. This Tennessee offense is just horrible right now and Mettenberger doesn't help it at all. The Titan offense has scored 17 points or less in 7 of their last 8 games and they have averaged just 14 ppg in their last 4 games, plus have put up just 17.5 ppg at home. For the Steelers as good as their offense has been this year, they have still averaged just 16.6 ppg on the road, which is 19 ppg less than they average at home. The Titan defense hasn't been horrible at home, where they have allowed 24.8 ppg, while the Steelers have allowed just 21 ppg on the road. The Under is 8-3 in the Titans' last 11 games overall, while the Under is 5-2 in Pittsburgh's last 7 on MNF and 4-1 in their last 5 road games. Steeler road games have averaged just 37.6 ppg and this one should fall right around that amount.
