Week 11 NFL and the San Francisco 49ers will travel to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Giants. The game has a start time of 1:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on FOX. Current Vegas odds have San Francisco listed as 3.5 point favorites, while the total is set at 44.5.  

Analysis:  The San Francisco 49ers have been a mystery this year as you never know what team will show up. Last week the Niners followed up a shocking home loss to the Rams with a nice 27-24 road win over the Saints in OT. The Niners are now 3 games behind the Cardinals in the NFC West. The Niners are 13-2 ATS off a SU dog win vs an opponent off a DD SU loss and 11-4 ATS in their last 15 road games, but just 1-7 ATS in their last 8 meetings with the Giants. The Niners are a slightly below average offense squad that ranks 17th in total yards, 22nd in passing, 9th in rushing and 21st in scoring (21.7 ppg). The defense has been very solid this year, ranking 2nd in yards allowed, 4th vs the pass, 7th vs the run and 16th in points allowed (22.4 ppg).

The Giants come in riding a 4 games losing streak that now has them in a tie for last place in the NFC East with the Washington Redskins. The Giants are 3-6 on the year which includes a 2-2 mark at home. The Giants are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game, but are also 1-10 ATS in their 5th home game if playing a non-division opponent and 4-13 ATS in their last 17 games in Week 11. The Giants are a very average offensive squad, ranking 18th in total yards, 15th in passing, 17th in rushing and 20th in scoring (21.7 ppg) The defense is where the issues on this team are, as they come in ranked 32nd in yards allowed, 25th vs the pass, 32nd vs the run and 26th in points allowed (27.4 ppg). 

Pick: Let’s take a shot with the Over in this game. The Niners offense has not been that great this year as they come in averaging just 21.7 ppg, but they will be taking on a poor Giants defense that is last in the league in yards allowed, while giving up 27.4 ppg. The Niners always have played solid defense, but they do allow 25 ppg on the road and this Giants offense has played much better at home, where they are averaging 24.5 ppg on the year, including 28 ppg in their last 3 at MetLife Stadium. Both offenses should have a good showing in this one with both teams putting up at least 24 points.
