Oregon at the time was ranked second in the country and has rebounded well to get back into the playoff contention. USC knocked off Arizona 28-26 while UCLA picked up a 17-7 win.
This game against Washington is certainly a game they need to win. Arizona's two losses in conference have them sitting in the middle of the road in the Pac-12 South without a chance to get back toward the top unless they win out. Arizona still has games against No. 23 Utah and No. 6 Arizona State. The Pac-12 has been a very good conference this season.
Anu Solomon has been one of the best freshmen in the country this season, tossing for 25 touchdowns and 2,800 yards. He's helped lead the Wildcats to an average of 37 points per game, which ranks among the 25 best numbers in the country. Arizona also runs the football effectively, piling up better than 191 yards on the ground per game.

Washington has won six games this season, but are just 2-4 in the Pac-12. A win over Colorado is the only victory in their last four games as well. Those three losses came to Oregon, Arizona State and UCLA, though. Washington has battled a tough schedule and should lose this game to Arizona, but does have a pair of winnable games against Oregon State and Washington State. The Huskies can score points, but not nearly as well as Arizona. Chris Peterson will have this program winning very soon, but Arizona is just too good right now.
