Analysis: The UNLV Rebels are in the midst of a tough year as they come in with a 2-8 record, including a 1-5 mark in the MWC. The Rebels have really struggled on the road going 0-5 and being outscored by 36.4 ppg in those games. The Rebels are 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 road games vs. a team with a winning home record, but 15-43-4 ATS in their last 62 road games and 6-20 ATS in their last 26 games following a double-digit loss at home. Pick: Boy can the Rebels stay in this one? Im not sure. The Cougars are already locked into their bowl game, but they still want to continue to win and look impressive in doing so. They have had some offensive injuries, but you don’t need a great offense to beat a Rebels team that has allowed 37.2 ppg. The Cougars defense has struggled at times this year, but did allow a good MTSU offense just 7 points last week and will now take on a pathetic UNLV offense that has averaged just 20 ppg overall and just 14.8 ppg on the road. This one should be a blowout.
