College Football Betting Odds Auburn Tigers vs Georgia Bulldogs Free Pick

College football week 12 and the Auburn Tigers will travel to Sanford Stadium to take on the Georgia Bulldogs. The game has a start time of 7:15 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on the Big 10 Network. Current Vegas odds have the Bulldogs listed as 2.5 point favorites, while the total is set at 68.5.

Analysis:  The Auburn Tigers come in with a 7-2 record on the year, which includes a 4-2 record in the SEC, while also going 2-1 on the road. Last week was a shocker for this team as they lost at home to Texas A&M as 23.5 pint favorites. That loss knocked them out of the Playoff chase. The tigers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games in November and 11-3 ATS in their last 14 conference games, but are also 1-4 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Georgia. The Tigers offense is a very good unit, ranking 13th in total yards, 74th in passing, 8th in rushing and 14th in scoring (38.7 ppg). The defense has been decent this year, ranking 61st in yards allowed, 102nd vs the pass, 29th vs the run and 47th in points allowed (24.1 ppg).

The Georgia Bulldogs shook off their shocking loss to Florida with a 63-31 drubbing of Kentucky last week. For the year the Bulldogs are 7-2 overall and 5-2 in the SEC, with still a shot at getting to the SEC Title game, but they do need Missouri to slip up. 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games after allowing less than 170 yards passing in their previous game and the host is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 meetings, but Georgia is also 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game. The offense has been very good for the Bulldogs this year, ranking 37th in total yards, 93rd in passing, 15th in rushing and 7th in scoring (43 ppg). The defense has been solid, ranking 22nd in yards allowed, 16th vs the pass, 57th vs the run and 39th in points allowed (23.2 ppg).

Pick: I am going with the Over in this one. Both teams have defenses that have struggled of late, while both offenses have been nearly unstoppable this year. The Auburn offense comes in averaging a healthy 38.7 ppg on the year and will be facing a Georgia defense that has allowed 33.7 ppg in their last 3 games. For the Dawgs they come off game that they just scored 63 points and now they get an angry Todd Gurley back, who may just run over everyone in this one. He just gives this already explosive offense one more weapon. For the year the Dawgs have averaged 43 ppg overall and 48 ppg at home. This offense will also be taking on a struggling defense as the Tigers come in allowing 36.3 ppg in their last 4 games. Last year these teams put up 81 points and we may just see that amount in this game as well. Should be a fun one.
