NFL Football Betting Odds Atlanta Falcons vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Free Pick

Week 10 NFL and the Atlanta Falcons will travel to Raymond James Stadium to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The game has a start time of 1:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on FOX. Current Vegas odds have the Falcons listed as 2.5 point favorites, while the total is set at 47.

Analysis:  The Atlanta Falcons are struggling as they come in having lost 5 in a row since they laid a 56-14 whopping on this same Tampa Bay squad. The Falcons are now 2-6 on the year and in 3rd place in the very weak NFC South. The Falcons are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 vs. NFC South and the favorite is 6-1-1 ATS the last 8 in this series, but Atlanta is also just 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game. Offense has not been a problem for this team as they come in ranked 8th in total offense, 7th in passing, 25th in rushing and 15th in scoring (24.0 ppg). The problems come on the defensive side of the ball where they rank 32nd in total yards allowed, 30th vs the pass, 25th vs the run and 28th in points allowed (27.6 ppg).

The Tampa Bay Bucs come in at 1-7 on the year and are in last place in the NFC South. The Bucs have not played well at home, where they are 0-4 on the year so far.  The Bucs are 21-6-1 ATS in their last 28 games in November, but are also 16-34-1 ATS in their last 51 home games and 1-8 ATS in their last 9 vs. NFC. The Bucs are a very poor offensive team that ranks 31st in total offense, 26th in passing, 29th in rushing and 26th in scoring (18.8 pg). The Defense has struggled as well, ranking 31st in yards allowed, 31st vs the pass, 18th vs the run and 32nd in points allowed (30.6 ppg).

Pick: A few weeks back the Falcons drilled the Bucs by a score of 56-14. So what has changed between now and then to think that the Bucs can be competitive in this one? Nothing. This Bucs team is still a bad team and while the Falcons are 0-4 on the road, the Bucs are 0-4 at home. The Falcons are off a bye week, while the Bucs played a physical game vs Cleveland last week. The Favorite is 6-1-1 the last 8 in the series, while the Bucs are 1-9 ATS in their last 9 games vs the NFC. Both teams are week on defense, but the Falcons rate the edge on offense and that should be the difference in this game as they win it by at least a TD.
