The next game to be played across the pond in NFL Football action takes place on Sunday between the Dallas Cowboys and the Jacksonville Jaguars. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. (EST) start time and it will be televised live on FOX. Currently the NFL Betting Odds for the game have the Cowboys favored by a decent margin in this one.
This is another NFL game being played across the pond and potentially the one with the least amount of interest. Jacksonville has played better this season, but still only has one win to show for it. A couple of weeks ago many thought Dallas was the best team in the league, but they have taken a step back and now have to deal with Tony Romo being a bit banged up again. Romo reportedly has a couple of fractures in his back, different from the injuries he had last season. Either way, running him out there against a poor Jacksonville team doesn't seem like the best option in the world. Brandon Weeden didn't play great in his absence in Dallas' last game, but with the way the Cowboys run the football with DeMarco Murray and that offensive line, starting Weeden might not be the worst choice.
Blake Bortles has proven to be a pretty good young quarterback for Jacksonville to date. While the wins aren't there just yet, just watching Bortles on the field and his growth has been noticeable. Jacksonville made the right move by giving him the starting job and soon enough, he'll be leading them to victories.
The Jaguar defense, though, hasn't been good enough like Bortles. The Jags rank toward the bottom of the league in opposing passing and rushing yards for the year. Even without Romo on the field, Dallas should be able to get the win across the ocean.
