Sunday Night Football Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens: Week 2 Game Preview

The Pittsburgh Steelers welcome in the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football. The game is scheduled for an 8:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on NBC. Currently the odds for the game have the game listed as a pick em here tonight.

This should be a pretty solid game tonight. Baltimore and Pittsburgh have a natural rivalry and that will be showcased tonight as the main game of the week. Both Baltimore and Pittsburgh have identical 5-3 records for the season, but both are looking up at the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC North as Cincy has just two losses for the year.

Baltimore and Pittsburgh have both been scoring points this season. The Ravens come into this game tonight off a loss to the Bengals last week, but they drilled both Tampa Bay and Atlanta the two weeks prior to that. Pittsburgh scored their most points all season last week in a win over Indianapolis, hanging 51 on the Colts in a win. Tonight a ton of points could be scored, which will certainly be exciting to see.

Ben Roethlisberger threw for better than 500 yards and six touchdowns last week, but that will certainly be tough to come by this week. Baltimore's defense isn't what it used to be, but the Ravens are very good against the run, which could make it tough for Le'Veon Bell and the Steeler running backs. Opponents are averaging just 90 yards on the ground per game. Baltimore has been beaten through the air, though, as opposing teams have thrown for 256 yards per game. That should allow Antonio Brown to get loose in this game and make big plays for the Steelers.

This game will be the second straight divisional road game for the Ravens, also their fourth time on the road in the last five weeks overall. That's a lot of time on the road for Joe Flacco and the birds.

The last seven games between these two clubs at Heinz Field have been decided by exactly three points. These teams always play each other tough and it makes for great games. Pittsburgh has just been too good offensively as they rank inside the Top 10 in the league in both rushing and passing yards per game this season. The running game could take a step back in this one today, but that opens it up for Roethlisberger tossing the ball to Brown.

Pittsburgh is also playing off revenge as the Ravens won 26-6 back in the second week of the season.
