College Football Betting Odds Georgia Bulldogs vs Florida Gators Free Pick

Saturday college football and we will see the Florida Gators take on the Georgia Bulldogs at EverBank Field in Jacksonville, Florida. The game has a start time of 3:30 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on CBS. Current Vegas odds have the Bulldogs listed as 10.5 point favorites, while the total is set at 47.5.

Analysis:  The Florida Gators come in with a 3-3 mark on the year that includes a 42-13 home loss to Missouri, in a game that they held the Tigers to just 119 yards in the game. 6 turnovers in the game are what did the Gators in in that one. The Gators are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games following a bye week, 9-4 ATS in their last 13 neutral site games, but just 10-25-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. The Gators are a poor offensive team, ranking 99th in total yards, 94th in passing, 61st in rushing and 76th in scoring (28.7 ppg). Defensively they are not so bad, as they come in ranked 12th in total yards allowed, 26th vs the pass, 20th vs the run and 59th in points allowed (25.5 ppg).

The Georgia Bulldogs come in at 6-1 on the year and are in first place in the SEC East with a 4-1 record. The Bulldogs have won 5 in a row since their lone loss of the year at South Carolina, with 4 of the wins coming by at least 13 points. The Bulldogs are 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 conference games and 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing more than 280 yards passing in their previous game, but are also 7-1 ATS as favorites before playing Kentucky. The Bulldogs are a strong offensive team that ranks 49th in total yards, 112th in passing, 15th in rushing and 9th in scoring (43.4 ppg). Defensively they are very good as well, ranking 16th in yards allowed, 48th vs the pass, 13th vs the run and 19th in points allowed (20 ppg).

Pick: I will take a shot with the Gators here. The Bulldogs are a good team, but also are dealing with many of the field distractions and will be without Todd Gurley for this one again. The Gator offense is not very good, but their defense is very good and they should make enough plays to keep this one close. The Bulldogs are 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 games following a S.U. win, While the Gators are 8-2 ATS their last 10 games following a Bye.  Gators should keep this one close.
