The defense is where this team has had its problems this year, ranking 86th in yards allowed, 105th vs the pass, 62nd vs the run and 88th in points allowed (29.3 ppg).

The Colorado Buffaloes have had another rough start, as they are 2-5 overall and 1-3 at home. The Buffaloes are also 0-4 SU in the Pac-12, but 2-2 ATS the spread in those games. The Buffaloes are just 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games as a home dog with revenge and they are also 9-20 ATS in their last 29 games vs a team with a winning record. The Buffaloes have been a solid offensive squad this year, ranking 28th in total yards, 18th in passing, 70th in rushing and 57th in scoring (31.1 ppg). The defense has not been so good for this team, as they come in ranked 93rd overall, 98th vs the pass, 82nd vs the run and 121st in points allowed (38.6 ppg).

Pick:  I can see the Buffaloes keeping this one close. UCLA has blown out just one team that year and really hasn’t played that well all season long. The Buffaloes are 0-4 SU in the Pac-12, but they have gone 2-2 ATS in those games. The Bruins have won just 1 games by more than 8 points this year, while Colorado has lost just 1 game by more than 14 points. I see the Buffs keeping this one close, especially since they have scored 38.3 ppg in their last 3 games, while the Bruins have allowed 35.3 ppg in their last 3 games. UCLA by 7 or less here.
