College Football Georgia Bulldogs at Arkansas Razorbacks Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

Georgia Football: How the Bulldogs Must Handle Missouri's Pass Rush

The 10th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs hit the road on Saturday to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks in college football action. The game is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on the SEC Network. Currently the odds for the game have the Bulldogs favored by a close margin.

This game is being played in Little Rock, where the Hogs play at least twice a season.

Georgia seems to be doing just fine without Todd Gurley in the backfield. The Bulldogs are playing without their Heisman hopeful, but were able to plug in Nick Chubb last week and it appeared they didn't miss a beat. Arkansas could prove to be a bit tougher opponent. Sure the Hogs are 0-3 in the SEC this season but the Razorbacks are literally only a couple of plays away from having back-to-back wins over Texas A&M and Alabama — but they did lose both games by a combined eight points. Against Alabama the Hogs fumbled a ball into the end zone for a touchback in addition to missing an extra point and a field goal. Execution was not their friend in that game.

Arkansas really likes to run the football and it works for them. They're piling up nearly 280 on the ground per game and teams have had a problem slowing them down. Could Georgia have the best defense they've seen to date this season?

The Bulldogs are allowing only 18 points per game to opponents this season. They gave up 38 to South Carolina in a loss back in September and 32 on the road against Tennessee, but have looked very strong in back-to-back weeks in wins over Vanderbilt and Missouri.

Georgia hasn't, however, been able to prove that quarterback Hutson Mason can take the top off a defense or throw to win a game. The Bulldogs have relied on their running game to get to 5-1 on the season and will certainly look to continue that in this contest. If Arkansas can stack the box and force Mason to make big throws against their defense, it could be a very intriguing game. Georgia has battled some injuries at the wide receiver position this year but is expected to have the bulk of their guys back.

Arkansas is very one-dimensional themselves as Brandon Allen still hasn't thrown for 300 yards in a game this season. For the most part that's not been a problem for Arkansas, but when they get down in a game, not being able to throw the ball effectively will hurt them.

In this contest, Georgia is the better team. Arkansas will certainly run the rock a ton and keep it close, but after back-to-back near misses against Top 10 teams, how much will the Hogs have left in the tank?
