NFL Football New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

Patriots vs. Chiefs: Full Report Card Grades for New England

The New England Patriots hit the road in NFL Football action on Sunday when they take on the Buffalo Bills. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on FOX. Currently the odds for the game have New England favored by a field goal in this one.

Big game here in the AFC East. The New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills are both 3-2 on the season and the Bills are coming off a huge win on the road over the Detroit Lions, who have one of the best defensive units in the NFL.

New England beat up on the Cincinnati Bengals last week on national television, showing they still have the ability to be a dangerous team. A win here over the Bills would allow the Pats to pile up another win in the division as they move forward this season. They've dominated the Bills of late, winning 20 of the last 21 matchups over the team from Buffalo. New england has been favored in all 21 of those matchups, so the decisions by the oddsmakers to list the Pats as the favorite is no surprise.

Tom Brady has been the center of some strange talk around New England this year, whether it be trade rumors, the talk of benching Brady or whatever. But when it comes down to it, Brady is still one of the best in the game and always gives his team a chance to win.

What has hurt the Patriots this season has been the offensive line and keeping Brady out of harms' way. Buffalo is a very stout from seven and picked up several saks last week against the Lions. They will look to pressure Brady and put the Patriots into uncomfortable situation. But the recent history for the Patriots over Buffalo can't be ignored.

Brady has 54 TD passes the last 24 games against Buffalo the past couple of seasons and is looking for more in this one. The Patriots have also gone 8-1 overall their last nine trips to Buffalo, with Brady tossing for 24 scores in those games.

In this one, Buffalo is coming off an emotional win on the road and hosting the Patrots the next time they take the field could be a problem.
