NFL Betting Odds Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cleveland Browns Free Pick

NFL week 6 and the Pittsburgh Steelers will travel to Cleveland, Ohio to take on the Cleveland Browns. The game has a start time of 1:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on CBS. Current Vegas odds have the Browns listed as 1 point favorites, while the total is set at 47.

Analysis: The Pittsburgh Steelers come in at 3-2 on the year, which includes a 2-1 mark on the road and a 1-1 mark at home. The Steelers are 10-1 ATS on the road after playing Jacksonville, plus they are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games in October. The Pittsburgh offense has been solid this year as they come in ranked 4th in total yards, 8th in passing, 8th in rushing, but they have struggled to score, averaging just 22.8 ppg, which is 18th in the league. The defense has been solid as they come in ranked 9th in yards allowed, 12th vs the pass, 11th vs the run and they have allowed just 21.6 ppg which is 14th in the league.

The Cleveland Browns are 2-2 on the year with all 4 games played being decided by 3 points or less. The have gone 1-1 at home and 1-1 on the road so far this year. The Browns are 0-6 ATS in game 5 if facing a winning team and they are just 1-3 ATS the last 4 in the series. The Browns offense has looked very good this year as they come in ranked 9th in total offense, 15th in passing, 5th in rushing and 11th in scoring, averaging 25.8 ppg. The defense has not been so good as they come in ranked 31st in yards allowed 27th vs the pass, 29th vs the run and they have allowed 26.2 ppg, which is 24th in the league.

Pick: I will take a shot with the improving Browns as they have shown to be very competitive this year, while the Steelers have shown to be very erratic. in the last two week the Steelers had a bad home loss vs the Bucs and then last week they barely beat a Jacksonville team that everyone has been killing. Cleveland has not had much success vs Pittsburgh the last few years, but they did build confidence vs them as they came back from 24 down in the opener before losing the game by just 3 points. I say Cleveland finally beats the Steelers in this one.
