Analysis: The Cleveland Indians seem to be making another last season run, as they come in winners of 6 of their last 7 games, to pull within 3.5 games both the Tigers and Royals in the AL Central. The Tribe comes in ranked 7th in the league in scoring (4.39 rpg), 11th in hitting (.255) and 10th in homers (126). The Pitching has been average at best for the Tribe, as they come in ranked 14th in ERA (3.60) and 17th in WHIP (1.28), while also ranking 2nd in the league in K's (1174)Getting the ball for the Indians will be T.J. House, who is just 2-3 with a 4.18 ERA on the year. He is 1-0 with a 4.05 ERA in 1 career start vs the Royals.

The Royals come in on a 3 games losing streak to fall back into a tie with the Detroit Tigers in the AL Central. The Royals are just 35-32 at home and have now lost 3 straight to the Tribe here. The Royals come in as an average scoring team with weak power, ranking 13th in the league in scoring (4.09) and 30th in Homers, despite the fact that they are 3rd in the league in hitting (2.63). The Pitching for them has been average as well, ranking 13th in ERA (3.60) and 16th in WHIP (1.27). Danny Duffy gets the ball tonight and has pitched very well this year, but he gets little run support so his record doesn't show it. Danny has made 21 starts this year and he is 7-10 in those starts, despite the fact that he has a 2.49 ERA.  

Pick: I will be going with the Under in this one. Danny Duffy has pitched in bad luck this year as he has a 2.49 ERA in 21 starts, while his record in just 7-10 in those starts. That indicates low scoring games when he is on the mound. At home he has a 2.82 ERA and just 6.5 rpg have been scored in those games. Danny also has a 1.99 ERA at night and just 6.35 rpg have been scored in those games. TJ House has a 4.18 ERA on the year, but has allowed more than 3 ERs just 1 in his last 9 starts. Both offenses struggle vs left-handed pitching and we also note that the UNDER is 14-2 in Duffy's last 16 starts as a favorite, while the UNDER is 7-0 in Cleveland's last 7 games vs a team with a winning record.
