The biggest game of the college football landscape today takes place between the top-ranked Florida State Seminoles and the Oklahoma State Cowboys. The game is scheduled for an 8:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ABC. Currently the odds for the game have the Seminoles as a big favorite to win in this one.

Florida State begins their national championship defense this week when they take on an Oklahoma State team that graduated a ton of talent from last year. This game is being played down in Jerry's World at Dallas Cowboys Stadium. These teams have met up four previous times and all four times played at a different venue, so there's nothing new here tonight.

Florida State has won three of the previous four games, but the last time these two met on the field was the 1985 Gator Bowl.

Everyone knows about the offseason for Jameis Winston. They can hate on him all they want, but Winston and the Noles just win football games. 

Here's something worth noting: dating back to 1999, the defending national champions have gone 15-0 and covered nine spreads in their season openers. Florida State is laying a lot here tonight but they should run away with this one against a young and inexperienced Oklahoma State squad. 

The Noles should be laying double digits in every game this season, but by now they should be used to playing as the favorite. Last year Florida State was 10-2-1 against the number as a double digit favorite. Expect them to look good tonight.

Florida State's defense will be too fast, the offense will make plays and Oklahoma State will just be a step slow all game. The Noles should have no problems here tonight.
