The Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will play tonight in NFL Preseason action from Florida. The game is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. start time and the Buccaneers are favored to pick up the win.

Both Miami and Tampa Bay lost in their opening game of the preseason. This will be Miami's second straight game on the road, having lost to the Atlanta Falcons last week, 16-10. The Dolphins scored the first touchdown of the game last week as Ryan Tannehill connected with Brandon Gibson.
Miami was out-gained, was not good on third down and committed too many penalties in their loss to the Falcons. The coaching staff will want to improve on all three facets of the game tonight, but the Buccaneers are hoping to do the same on their end.
Coincidentally, Tampa Bay also lost 16-10 in their opening game — to the third NFL team in Florida, Jacksonville. Last year the Bucs were the worst team in the league in passing yards per game and weren't any better in their first game of the preseason.
Tampa Bay actually had more penalties than Miami did in their opening game, so don't expect a clean cut game tonight. It will probably be choppy as both teams are undisciplined at this point and are looking to work out their problems.
This game probably won't have a lot of points scored, either. Both offenses were very pedestrian in the opening week and we don't see that getting any better this week. It still can be an entertaining game, however. In this one we like the team playing at home and will take Tampa Bay by a field goal.
