The Mariners not been all that good on offense this year, as they come in ranked 21st in scoring (3.95 rpg), 24th in hitting (.245), and 19th in homers (79). The pitching for the Mariners has been very strong, as they come in ranked 2nd in ERA (3.10) and 1st in WHIP (1.14). Getting the ball for the Mariners today will be Chris Young, who is 8-6 with a 3.15 ERA on the year, while on the road he is 3-3 with a 4.04 ERA. Pick: I will look to the Under in this one. Neither team has scored much during the first two games of this series and I don't see that changing here. Tyler Skaggs has struggled of late and at home this year, but the Mariners hit just .233 vs lefties on the road this year and that should keep their scoring down. Chris Young comes in with a 3.15 ERA on the year, with his games averaging just 5.94 rpg, while in his last 3 starts he has the same 3.15 ERA and those games have averaged just 4.67 rpg. Behind the two starters are a couple of pens that have been exceptional of late, so I wouldn't expect much late scoring. I look for no more than 7 runs here.
