NCAA Tournament Final Four Florida Gators vs Connecticut Huskies Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

The NCAA Tournament has reached the Final Four and the first game tonight will see the top-ranked Florida Gators take on the Connecticut Huskies. The game is scheduled for a 6:09 p.m. (EST) start time and it will be televised nationally on TBS. Currently the odds for the game have Florida favored to get a victory and play in the national championship game.

The Florida Gators were tabbed as the top overall seed in the NCAA Tournament by the selection committee and now are on the verge of playing for a national championship. Billy Donovan's group hasn't lost in four months, but tonight will take on the team that last beat them on the hardwoods in the Connecticut Huskies, a seventh seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Connecticut's opening game of the tournament saw them go to overtime with 10th-seeded Saint Joseph's. Since then, the Huskies have certainly been battle tested, having to beat second-seeded Villanova, the third-seeded Iowa State Cyclones and the fourth-seeded Michigan State Spartans, who were picked by many national pundits to be the champion before the tournament started. Connecticut has been galvanized as a team through this tournament run and their leader, Shabazz Napier, has played impressively.

Florida boasts one of the best defenses in college basketball. The matchup between Napier and Scottie Wilbekin will be a fun one to watch as both are extremely competitive and are their respective team's best player. Yet, Wilbekin probably has a better overall cast around him. The Gators have been to four straight Elite Eights and now have reached the Final Four.

The Gators have proven they can defend, rebound and run an offense the entire season. But the way this group has come together has been rather impressive to say the least. Patric Young, Kasey Hill, Dorian Finney-Smith and Michael Frazier II have really played well in the tournament alongside Wilbekin and the Gators are the best overall team left in college basketball. But the best team doesn't always come out as the winners.

But, with Donovan's experience as a coach (having won two national titles) and the overall experience from Florida's team, we like them to get the win here tonight.

Free Pick: Florida 71, Connecticut 62
