College Basketball has reached the Final Four and the top-ranked Florida Gators are listed as the favorites in the National Championship Odds. Florida is the last No. 1 seed remaining in the tournament, which also features a second-seed Wisconsin Badgers, a seventh seed in the Connecticut Huskies and an eighth seed with the Kentucky Wildcats. The Final Four will be played on Saturday evening from Dallas.

Florida is currently listed as the only team in the Final Four at worse than even odds. BetOnline currently has them listed at -110 (Risk $110 to profit back $100) odds to win the national championship. Wisconsin is listed at 3.5 to 1, Kentucky is 2.25 to 1 and Connecticut is listed at 6.5 to 1 odds.

The Florida Gators will take on the Connecticut Huskies Saturday in the first Final Four contest, scheduled for a start time just after 6 o'clock. Wisconsin and Kentucky will take the floor in the second game of the night.

The SEC isn't looked upon as being a bigtime college basketball conference, or at least they haven't been in the past few seasons. Yet, there's a very good chance that the tournament-winning team this season will come from the SEC. Both Florida and Kentucky are the top two listed teams to win the national championship and could very well face off in the national title game. So far this season Florida has beaten Kentucky three times.

The Gators haven't lost since a 65-64 defeat to Connecticut way back on December 2. Shabazz Napier hit the game-wining shot as time expired in that game for the Huskies. Florida's only other loss this season came to the Wisconsin Badgers back in November. Both of those games were on the road this season, but it's remarkable that all three teams made the Final Four.

Kentucky has only lost to Florida dating back to the early part of March and ran through the gauntlet to get to the Final Four, beating Kansas State, Wichita State, Louisville and Michigan — three of the four representatives from last season's Final Four.

This is Wisconsin's first Final Four under coach Bo Ryan, who always has solid teams. Connecticut has made the Final Four three times since 2009.
