Super Bowl props are a huge part of betting the big game. It gives Gamblers many more ways to bet the big game, than just a side or total play. Super Bowl 48 is just a few days away and I thought it would be a good time to look a few good Props involving the Seattle Seahawks that I think will cash during Sunday’s big game, along with a little analysis on each play.
Longest Rush by Marshawn Lynch --- Under 19.5 (-130)
The Bronco run defense has been very solid this year, allowing just 97.5 ypg on 3.9 ypc this year and they haven’t really given up man big plays on the ground. Seattle will look to run at Denver, but I just don’t expect a 20yard from Marshawn in this one.
1st Pass by Russell Wilson Will Be --- A Completion (-190)
The Super Bowl is a huge stage for anyone, let alone a young QB like Russell Wilson and I expect the Seattle coaching staff to come up with an easy safe pass attempt for his first pass to get him some confidence.
Russell Wilson Passing Yards --- Over 199.5 (-145)
The Bronco rush defense may be good, but their pass defense is horrible and if Seattle wants to win this game they will have to air it out vs that pass defense that allowed 251.1 ypg through the air this year. Also should Seattle fall down big he will have to throw to catchup.
Total Touchdowns By Marshawn Lynch --- Over .5 (-155)
Seattle doesn’t score many touchdowns outside of the redzone and I feel that they will have at least 2 or 3 goal to goal situations, giving Marshawn and excellent shot at getting the 1 TD that will put this play over the total.
Seattle Total Rushing Yards --- Under 132.5 (-120)
The Bronco run defense has stiffened down the stretch as they haven’t allowed 100 yards or more rushing in 5 of their last 6 games. Seattle will try to establish the run, but the Broncos have allowed just 97.5 ypg on the year and ultimately it will need to be the arm of Wilson that will give them their best chance to win the game.
