2014 Super Bowl XLVII Odds

The 2014 Super Bowl XLVII Odds have the Seattle Seahawks as the favorite to win the biggest game in sports. The Super Bowl will be played on Sunday, February 2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

It should come as no surprise that the Seattle Seahawks are favored to win the Super Bowl this season. We've seen their defense dominate all season and Russell Wilson has orchestrated the offense to near perfection. The below odds are courtesy of the Las Vegas Hotel, home of the SuperBook.

The Seahawks have the top overall seed in the NFC, which means anybody that thinks they have a Super Bowl shot has to go through Seattle. They own the most influential home field advantage in pro football and it's not likely they would get beat there. In fact, only the Arizona Cardinals bested the Seahawks during a home game this season.

Denver is being tabbed as the favorite for the AFC at 5-2 odds. Peyton Manning broke another NFL record this season by setting the most passing yards in his 17 games. The Broncos finished the regular season with a 13-3 regular season and earned the top spot in the AFC. Could the Broncos and Seahawks end up in the Super Bowl together? The odds certainly say they are the best possible matchup.

Two cold weather teams might make the Super Bowl more manageable to watch, as well. Certainly oddsmakers are looking at the teams who play indoors (Indy, New Orleans) and not really giving them a chance to win at 25-1 odds. Also, the Chargers, who snuck into the playoffs with an overtime win over Kansas City on Sunday, are listed at 40-1, the longest odds.

2014 Super Bowl XLVII Odds

Seahawks 2-1
Broncos 5-2
Patriots 7-1
49ers 7-1
Panthers 10-1
Packers 16-1
Bengals 16-1
Saints 25-1
Colts 25-1
Eagles 25-1
Chiefs 30-1
Chargers 40-1
