NFL Odds Baltimore Ravens vs Pittsburgh Steelers

The third NFL game to take place on Thanksgiving will see the Pittsburgh Steelers travel to take on the Baltimore Ravens. The game is scheduled for an 8:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on NBC. Currently the odds for the game have Baltimore as a slight favorite.

Odds

Pittsburgh      +2.5
Baltimore       -2.5

This will be the final game to kickoff on Thanksgiving and the game is typically played on the NFL?Network. However, the league decided to kick it over to NBC, which probably is a prety good move with more viewers being able to watch the game.

Pittsburgh and Baltimore are obviously rivals. We know they hate each other and this should be a very entertaining game to watch. It’s hard-hitting, it’s well-played and it’s definitely angry football. The past six meetings between these two teams have all been decided by just three points. Pittsburgh picked up a Week 7 win in this series with a field goal as time expired, 19-16.

Steeler head coach Mike Tomlin has admitted his team was awful the beginning of the season. They lost the opening four games but have recovered nicely since their bye week, winners of five of their last seven games. Now the Steelers are back in the AFC?playoff picture (seriously) and a win herewould only boost their resume.

Ben Roethlisberger has been a warrior this season, throwing for better than 3,100 yards and 19 touchdowns. He’s clearly the heart and soul of the franchise and even when they have struggled, he’s been positive and said all the right things.

Joe Flacco has not followed the company line as well. Just recently he’s been quoted complaining about when the Ravens run the “wildcat,”?liking it to “high school football.” Yeah, because they’s what the team wants to talking about in the media. Flacco does play well in home games, so he should have his team ready to go in this one.

The Ravens have won and covered six of their last seven home games, winning four of five this season. Pittsburgh has not been a bettor’s friend recently, covering only seven of their last 22 games on the road.

Expect a great game in this one. Both teams are in need of a victory, and Baltimore’s home stretch leads us to take them in this contest. Flacco needs to start playing better and with a win, he can help the Ravens inch back toward the playoff picture.
