The injured plagued Green Bay Packers will attempt to shake off their health woes today as they face a surging New York Giants squad at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This afternoon's showdown between the Packers and Giants is scheduled to kickoff at 4:25pm ET; the game will be broadcast live on FOX. The latest NFL Point Spreads have New York lined as a -4 against the spread home favorite and the Over/Under set at 41 points.

When Aaron Rodgers went down with a broken collarbone in the first quarter of Green Bay's Monday night clash with Chicago everyone knew life got a lot more difficult for the Packers.

That sentiment has proven true as Green Bay, which owns one of the best home field advantages in the NFL, went on to lose to the Bears 20-27 at Lambeau before falling 13-27 at home to the Eagles.

The Packers, who have suffered more critical injuries than any team in the league, saw backup quarterback Seneca Wallace go down in the first quarter of last week's games, which forced them to turn to 26 year old Scott Tolzien.

Tolzein completed 24-of-39 passes for 280 and one touchdown against Philly, but he also tossed two crucial interceptions.

Tolzien will make his second career start today and he will be backed up by the well traveled Matt Flynn, who resigned with Green Bay earlier this week.

Tolzein will lead the Packers offense against a Giants team and defense that suddenly has teeth. New York, which dropped its first six games of the season, has won three straight while holding its opposition to an average of 11.3 points per game.

It stands to reason Green Bay may show a little better offensive continuity today with Tolzien getting ample snaps last week and a full week of practice prior to today's game; however, the Giants sudden turnaround makes the prospects of a Packers win unlikely.
