A matchup between the SEC and Big Ten takes place tonight when the Florida Gators hit the road to play the Wisconsin Badgers. The game is scheduled for a 9 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN2. The odds for the game have Wisconsin as a home favorite to top the Gators.

While it's neither of the big, big games that are going to be played tonight, this one still features two ranked teams in primetime. The Florida Gators have built a very solid program under Billy Donovan while Wisconsin and Bo Ryan will look to keep this game low-scoring.

Wisconsin loves to play games in the 40s and 50s as if it were a midwestern high school game. That's how they win games during the year. They defend, suffocate you with their zone and they hit the glass hard. If they find a way to score in the 60s, they're very hard to beat, especially at the Kohl Center. Look for them to slow it down tonight to try and keep those Gators from running wild in the open floor.

Florida nearly lost last week against North Florida, clearly not focused on a lesser opponent. Donovan has to fix that immediately with his squad. Casey Prather will cause some problems tonight for the Badgers. He's an athletic big man who can hit the boards and offensively he's a beast. Mike Frazier at the guard position will be fun to watch tonight as well. Wisconsin will match him up with Traevon Marshall, presumably.

Ryan's Badgers will want to feed the rock to Josh Gasser and Sam Dekker on the interior. That's where this game is going to be won by either team. Forwards in a physical game between these two should give us something exciting to watch.

But laying six points with Wisconsin here doesn't seem like a good idea. Florida is a very good team and they play well on the road. These teams are pretty similar, and laying six points at home against a team as good as Florida just doesn't seem like something we want to do.
