NFL Week 10 Odds Jacksonville Jaguars vs Tennessee Titans

NFL Week 10 football and we will see the Jacksonville Jaguars travel to Tennessee to take on the Tennessee Titans. The game will televised on CBS and has a start time of 1:00 pm (Eastern). Vegas odds have Tennessee listed as 13 point favorites, while the total sits at 43.5.

Analysis: The Jacksonville Jaguars have beaten only two teams in their last 24 games, but one of them was the Tennessee Titans. They look to do it again today. Off to their worst start in franchise history, the Jaguars haven't played since a 42-10 rout at the hands of San Francisco in London on Oct. 27. Maurice Jones-Drew compiled a season-high 122 yards from scrimmage in the loss. Jacksonville comes out of its bye week with little room for optimism. The offense averages a pitiful 10.8 points per game, and they have taken a big hit in the passing game with the loss of Blackmon, who has been suspended. The defense hasn't been much better and ranks last in the league against the run, allowing 161.8 yards per game, while also ranking dead last in points allowed at 33 ppg.

While the Jaguars are on their way to a high draft pick, the Titans still have hope for a playoff spot, trailing division leader Indianapolis by two games. The Titans (4-4) ended a three-game losing streak with a needed 28-21 win at St. Louis last Sunday. Chris Johnson, averaging a career-low 3.7 yards per carry, turned in a vintage performance with 150 rushing yards and two touchdowns as Tennessee compiled a season-high 198 yards on the ground. Jake l Locker has been solid when healthy this year, completing 61.5 percent of his passes for 1,232 yards with eight touchdowns and three interceptions. The defense for the Titans has been very good vs the pass, ranking 7th in that department, but they are just 26th vs the run. Overall they allow 20.9 ppg, which is 9th in the league.

Pick: Really hard to side with the Jags, but this could very well be a flat spot for Tennessee. Let's note that winless dogs of 6 or more off a bye week and are facing a team with at least one loss on the year, if that team did not win their last game by 20 or more are 18-2 ATS. The Jags will not win the game out right but they have a shot at keeping it close here.
