The 2013 World Series has yet to get underway, but the odds makers at the Las Vegas Hotel and Casino have already turned their eyes to the 2014 season. The renowned bookmaker issued its 2014 World Series Odds earlier today and it has tabbed 2013 NLCS loser, the Los Angeles Dodgers, as a 5 to 1 favorite to win next year's Fall Classic. The Detroit Tigers, who will have a new skipper next season, and Washington Nationals are a second picks at 8 to 1 odds while this year's National League Pennant winner, the St. Louis Cardinals, are a fourth selection at 10 to 1 odds. Rounding out the top five favorites are the Boston Red Sox at 12 to 1 odds.

The least likely 2014 World Series winner by the LVH's estimation are the beleaguered Houston Astros. Other long shots include the New York Mets, Miami Marlins, and Minnesota Twins.
