National League division continues today and we will see the St Louis Cardinals take on the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park in Pittsburgh. First pitch is scheduled for a 4:37 PM (Eastern) start time and the game will be televised on TBS.

Analysis: The St Louis Cardinals took game 1 of this series, but then they let homefield advantage in the series slip away with a 7-1 loss in game. Playing in Pittsburgh may be tough for this team as the Cardinals have lost seven of 10 here, while batting .227 with zero home runs. Getting the call for the Cardinals on Sunday will be right-hander Joe Kelly, who was 10-5 this season with a 3.08 ERA. Kelly, though, pitched to a 2.69 ERA in his 15 starts, which saw St. Louis go a remarkable 12-3. Kelly was 5-1 with a 1.08 in seven road starts, including two victories at Pittsburgh and he has worked at least 5 innings in each of his last 15 starts.

Pittsburgh will be getting their first divisional series playoff home game in 21 years today when the Cards come calling. Pittsburgh rookie Gerrit Cole was certainly feeling it on Friday, as he gave up one run on two hits while striking out five for the Pirates, who bounced back from a 9-1 loss in Game 1 on Thursday. In the game, Pedro Alvarez, who tied for the NL lead in home runs, is the first Pirate to homer in back-to-back playoff games since Willie Stargell in the 1974 NLCS. The Pirates will have their ace on the mound in Francisco Liriano, who was magnificent against the Cardinals this season, going 3-0 with a 0.75 ERA in three starts, while holding them to just a .149 average. Liriano was nearly unbeatable at PNC Park, logging an 8-1 record and 1.47 ERA in 11 home starts. 

Pick: Have to go with the Pirates in this one. Liriano has been awesome at home and vs the Cardinals this year for that matter. Pittsburgh is at home for a REAL playoff game and they will be rocking just like the Wildcard game. Pittsburgh will take a big 2-1 lead after this one.
