NFL Sunday Pittsburgh Steelers at Minnesota Vikings Start Time, Odds

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings meet up today in NFL Sunday action. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on CBS. Currently the odds for the game have the Steelers favored in this one.

This game is being played at Wimbley Stadium in London.

Both teams are looking to pick up their first win of the season in this one. Pittsburgh and Minnesota are both a bit of a surprise to be 0-3 at this point in the season as many though they both could contend for a playoff spot. Yet, now that seems like a very distant possibility.

The Vikings are going to play without Christian Ponder in this one. Backup quarterback Matt Cassel is going to get the football for the Vikings and he does have some experience as a starter in this league and has had success.

Pittsburgh's three losses in a row to open the season are the first time in four seasons the Steelers have dropped three straight. Ben Roethlisberger has been sacked 10 times this season and has already turned the football over seven times. Rookie running back Le"Veon Bell is expected to get his first start in this one, which should be a huge boost for the Steelers, who have been downright bad at running the football to this point in the season.

Ponder for the Vikings had been a turnover machine to open the season, so maybe playing Cassel can stir some things up for Minnesota.

The Vikes have failed to cover nine of the last 12 times they've been favored, but they no longer are favored in this matchup.

Adrian Peterson is obviously going to play a major role in this one. Pittsburgh is giving up an average of 115 yards per game on the ground this year, which is just what the Vikings are hoping to exploit.

In a battle of two teams off to terrible starts on the season, we will take the one with the for sure thing in Peterson. Give us Minnesota.
