Arizona Cardinals vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Start Time, Odds

Sunday afternoon football and we will see the Arizona Cardinals travel to the Sunshine State to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The start time is 1:00 pm (Eastern) and the game will be televised on FOX. Current Odds have Tampa Bay listed as 1 point favorites, while the total sits at 40.5.

Analysis: The Arizona Cardinals come into the game with a 1-2 mark and are off a 31-7 loss to the New Orleans Saints. The Cardinals started well last week as Alfonso Smith's TD run capped an 11-play drive that gained 75 yards, but they had only 172 yards of total offense after that. Palmer's 72.3 passer rating is 26th in the NFL, and he's thrown three touchdowns and four picks for a Cardinals offense that ranks 23rd with an average of 328.3 yards per game. Larry Fitzgerald found the going tough last weekend, fighting through a hamstring injury to haul in 5 passes for 64 yards. Larry caught two touchdown passes in the last meeting with Tampa Bay. Arizona has surrendered 297 yards per game through the air through three weeks, but have also give up just 19.1 ppg on the year. Sunday marks Arizona's first visit to Raymond James Stadium since losing 27-23 to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLIII in 2009.

Tampa Bay is 0-3 on the year and this team is a mess right now. QB josh Freeman has be relieved of his duties, while it seems as if Schaino has lost his team. Rookie Mike Glennon will line up under center for his first career start. Glennon, who backed up Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson at North Carolina State before throwing for 62 touchdowns over his junior and senior seasons, will be tasked with helping improve an offense that ranks 29th in the league with an average of 282.0 yards per game. Tampa Bay is in the middle of the NFL pack against the pass, allowing 237.3 yards per game, while allowing 24.6 ppg. Tampa Bay has won six of the last eight meetings, and prevailed 38-35 in their last encounter Oct. 31, 2010, in Arizona.

Pick: The Tampa Bay Bucs are a mess right now. Their coach has lost the locker room, their offense is horrible and their defense isn't that good either.  Look for Arizona to take advantage with a solid road win here.
