The Oakland Raiders travel to take on the Denver Broncos tonight in Monday Night Football. The game is scheduled for an 8:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. Currently the odds for the game have the Broncos favored by two touchdowns.

Denver has started out hot this year, winning both of their games and looking very efficient in both of those wins as well. Peyton Manning has gotten off to an amazing start as well, tossing touchdowns all over the yard and leading the Broncos to having one of the best offenses in football.

The Oakland Raiders are 1-1 overall and Terrelle Pryor seems to have taken over the reigns for the team. Oakland gave up a couple of first round picks for Matt Flynn during the off-season but for whatever reason are paying him to hold a clipboard this season. Sometimes the Raiders just act like the Raiders of old. Can't see how this works out well for the team, especially if Pryor struggles in the next few games and they make a QB change again, going back to Flynn.

Denver's defense could prove to be a big impact on this game tonight. Oakland has averaged 18 points in their opening two games but defensively has played well to this point as well, allowing just 15 points per game. The Denver defense has given up 27 to Baltimore and 23 to the Giants, but eclipsed the 40-point plateau in both of those wins.

Giving up just 40.5 rushing yards per game to opponents, Denver's rush defense is the best in the league. But then again, they have been ahead in both contests and their opponent had to abandon the run to try and get back into the game. Could that happen again tonight against Oakland? Probably.

Manning is averaging better than 375 yards through the air to this point. Denver hasn't been the best running team themselves to this point, but when Manning is your signal caller it doesn't really seem like you need a huge rush attack.

Look for the Broncos to man-handle the Raiders tonight. Just don't see Oakland being able to get enough points against an aggressive Denver defense to cover the two touchdown spread, especially on the road.
