NFL Picks Week 2 Browns vs Ravens Odds

With a disappointing home opener now in the rear view mirror, the Cleveland Browns are set to face division rival Baltimore tomorrow at M&T Bank Stadium. The two familiar foes are scheduled to take the field at 1:00pm ET; the game will be broadcast live on CBS. The latest NFL Picks Week 2 have the Ravens listed as a -7 against the spread home favorite and the Over/Under set at 43.5 points. The Browns are getting +245 money line odds ($100 wins $245) to put Baltimore in an 0-2 hole to start the season.

So much for the Browns being anything other than, well, the Browns, at least for the time being, anyway, as they fell flat in their season opener against the Dolphins. Bettors were firmly in Cleveland’s corner against Miami, pushing the line from a pick’em to -2 in favor of the Browns before kickoff.

Cleveland, as it so often does, failed its loyal fan-base as well as its sports book backers, losing 23-10 to the Dolphins. The Browns defense turned in an exemplary effort as it held Miami to 275 total yards, a 0.9 yards per carry average, and a 4.2 yards per pass average, but it could not make up for the Brandon Weeden led offense.

Cleveland finished the game with 291 total yards while Weeden completed 26-of-53 passes for 289 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions.

The Browns will not be alone in their wound licking tomorrow. Baltimore got taken behind the woodshed in its opener too with Denver posting a 49-27 win over the defending champs last Thursday at Mile High.

The Ravens defense looked like a shell of its former self, allowing 510 yards to Peyton Manning and company, but John Harbaugh’s squad does have reason to feel confident heading into tomorrow’s meeting with the Browns.

Baltimore is 10-0 straight up and 7-3 against the spread in its last 10 games opposite Cleveland and it has won five in a row against the Browns at M&T Bank Stadium.

The Browns, though, have hung tough in the last several games in the Charm City. Cleveland is 3-0 against the spread in its last three trips to Baltimore, covering spreads of 11, 11, and 12 points in 23-16, 20-14, and 24-17 losses, respectively.

NFL Picks Week 2 Browns vs Ravens Odds:

Cleveland Browns +7 (-110), Over 43.5 (-110), +245 (Moneyline)

Baltimore Ravens -7 (-110), Under 43.5 (-110), -290 (Moneyline)
