Georgia Bulldogs 2013 College Football Predictions and Schedule

The Georgia Bulldogs will look to secure their third consecutive SEC East title when the season kicks off next week and the latest 2013 College Football Predictions suggest they will get it. Mark Richt's squad, which nearly upset Alabama in last year's SEC title game, is a +125 favorite to win the East Division and it is a second pick, behind the aforementioned Crimson Tide, to win the 2013 SEC Championship at +400 odds ($100 wins $400).

Georgia has an exceptional recruiting class coming in and it returns nine starters, including quarterback Aaron Murray, from an offense that averaged 37.8 points per game. Those developments have many believing the Bulldogs cannot only challenge Alabama for SEC supremacy, but also make a play for the BCS National Championship (currently drawing +1200 national title odds). The defense does have to fill a number of holes, though, with eight starters from last year's unit moving on.

The Bulldogs 2013 schedule is highlighted by home games with South Carolina and LSU and the annual neutral site affair with Florida. Early college football lines (Golden Nugget) have Georgia favored in each of those games (-4, -6.5, and -3 respectively). The only other potential conference stumbling block for Georgia looks like a road meeting with an improved Vanderbilt team; however, the Bulldogs are 9-1 in their last 10 games opposite the Commodores and they are 8-0 in their last eight trips to Nashville.

The Bulldogs do face a tall task right out of the chute as well with a August 31st meeting against Clemson at Clemson Memorial Stadium. The Tigers opened at No. 8 in both the AP and Coaches Polls while the Bulldogs opened at No. 5 in the preseason rankings.

2013 Georgia Bulldogs College Football Predictions:

Georgia Odds to win the 2014 BCS National Championship +1200
Georgia Odds to win the 2013 SEC Championship +400 (two of 14)
Georgia Odds to win the 2013 SEC East Division +125 (one of seven)
Georgia Regular Season Wins: Over 9.5 (-140), Under 9.5 (+110)
