2013 AFC North Odds

Football is finally here as the NFL camps are underway. One of the more competitive divisions in football this season will be the AFC North. There are three legitimate teams in that division that could win. The 2013 AFC North Odds have the Pittsburgh Steelers favored to win, however.

AFC North Odds

Pittsburgh Steelers +130
Cincinnati Bengals +180
Baltimore Ravens +285
Cleveland Browns +650

Each of the teams is setting at plus-money for the upcoming season. It's tough to gauge which team will come out on top and the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens did lose a significant amount of solid players from last season. The Steelers are the oddsmaker's choice to take home the playoff spot and clinch the division crown. The Las Vegas Superbook has the Steelers set to win nine games this season. The Bengals and Baltimore Ravens are currently holding an 8.5 over/under number, while the Cleveland Browns have a season totals win at six.

The Steelers are bringing back a healthy Mike Adams and Ben Roethlisberger. If they can get consistent play from Big Ben we've obviously seen what this team can do. Pittsburgh is a hard-working community of people and their football team clearly represents that. They still have to find a way to replace Mike Wallace, who bolted for the Miami Dolphins, but the Steelers should still be able to make big plays on offense, especially with Roethlisberger loving to throw to his tight ends.

Joe Flacco got paid by the Baltimore Ravens and now the team has had to let several of their key players leave because they can't afford them. Several of those players are also cashing in on the fact that they were part of a Super Bowl winning team, as well. Ray Rice is still one of the best backs in football and he's going to have to put up another set of pretty big numbers for the Ravens. The team also lost Dennis Pitta for the rest of the season.

The Bengals still have the dynamic duo of Andy Dalton and A.J. Green. Their defense was pretty stout last year as they won 10 games. Can they do it again this season and return to the playoffs? Cleveland is in a bad spot, at least for the time being. Brandon Weeden is expected to continue to be the starting quarterback and last year Trent Richardson proved he can be a very solid back. Both clubs will need to put together solid seasons.
