Hyun-Jin Ryu has not won since recording his first career shutout on May 28, when he struck out seven and allowed two hits in a 3-0 victory over the Los Angeles Angels. He has permitted a total of eight runs during the four-start winless stretch, including 6 2/3 innings of one-run ball last time out vs. San Francisco. The 26-year-old South Korean is 4-1 with a 1.81 ERA in eight home starts.
Pick: This is not an overreaction to last night, but the fact that Lee is on the mound and he has pitched very well vs the Dodgers in his career, allowing a TOTAL of 4 ER's in 6 career starts vs them. Teams are starting to get more tape on Ryu and he does have a 3.38 ERA in hihs last 3 starts, so teams are starting to hit him a bit more, plus the Phils offense is starting to hit, putting up 33 runs in their last 4 games. Look for Philly to make it 2 in a row over LA.
