NFL Season Win Total: New York Giants

http://cdn.bleacherreport.net/images_root/slides/photos/003/155/271/hi-res-127296885_crop_650x440.jpg?1367976384

The entire NFL Season Win Totals have been released by the Las Vegas Hotel (formerly Hilton). The New York Giants have been projected with an over/under of 9 wins this season. The NFC East saw the Giants finish second last season with a 9-7 record. The LVH has released season win totals for each of the NFL franchises and the Giants are once again projected to be one of the contenders in the NFC.

The nine team wins projected for the Giants this season is the most of any team in the NFC East. But in order to get there they'll have to get off to a good start, where three of their first four games are on the road. Sandwiched in there is a game against Denver at home.

Yes, Eli Manning will be back for another season at the helm of the Giants. He threw for nearly 4,000 yards again last season and Victor Cruz is one of the better wide receivers in the league. Last year Manning and Cruz hooked up for 10 touchdowns. Seven other Giants caught touchdown passes last year. Ahmad Bradshaw ran for better than 1,000 yards last year.

The defense let down the Giants last season. There's always talk about how Manning can't do certain things or that he's not one of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL. Yet, the defense was 28th in the league against the pass last year, giving up gobs of yards through the air. They weren't much better against the run, ranking just 25th in the league allowing 129 yards on the ground.

Three of the first four games of the season will see the Giants on the road. Then in the next group of four games New York will travel to take on the Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles before their bye week. In the final five games of the season the Giants will take on the Redskins twice along with road games to San Diego and Detroit, with a home game against Seattle in there as well.
