NBA Wednesday night and we will see the San Antonio Spurs travel to the west coast to take on the Los Angeles Clippers. The game is scheduled for a 10:35 pm start time and it will be televised live on ESPN. Currently the odds have San Antonio favored by 1.5 points with the total sitting at 200.5 points for the contest. Free Analysis: The San Antonio Spurs are owners of a 4-0 mark for the first time in franchise history and attempt to stretch the streak to five when they visit the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. The San Antonio Spurs' dominance of the Los Angeles Clippers carried into the playoffs last season. San Antonio (4-0) disposed of upstart Los Angeles (2-2) in four straight games in the second round of the playoffs last season before being eliminated by Oklahoma City in the Western Conference finals. The Spurs' sweep of the Clippers wasn't much of a surprise since they had won 48 of the previous 54 regular-season meetings. San Antonio is 24-4 in its last 28 road games against the Clippers, including two playoff victories.  San Antonio’s strong bench is even better than anticipated with veteran guard Manu Ginobili also part of it after missing the first two games with back soreness. The Spurs’ reserves scored 57 points during Monday’s 101-79 trouncing of the Indiana Pacers with guard Gary Neal scoring 17, post player DeJuan Blair contributing 14 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Stephen Jackson tallying 12 points. Tim Duncan continues to be a force for San Antonio in his 16th season, leading the team with 19.3 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.5 blocks. The 13-time All-Star averaged 21.0 points on 59.4 percent shooting against the Clippers in the playoffs. Tony Parker sat out the last regular-season meeting with Los Angeles due to a sore thigh, but went on to average 20.7 points in the final three postseason matchups.

The Clippers have lost back-to-back home games and committed a combined 41 turnovers in the defeats against the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers. Veteran guard Jamal Crawford is off to a strong start and his 96 points off the bench over the first four games is the most by a reserve since Wayman Tisdale also scored 96 points in Indiana’s first four outings of the 1988-89 campaign. Chris Paul is averaging 18.5 points and 11.5 assists through four games, and he had 36 and 11, respectively, in a 120-108 win at San Antonio on March 9. However, he was held to 12.8 points per game with 9.3 assists in the playoff loss to the Spurs. All-Star forward Blake Griffin is off to a pedestrian start – averaging 16.3 points and 8.0 rebounds – while battling elbow and neck injuries. “His elbow is concern, his neck is a concern but Blake’s a tough kid,” Los Angeles coach Vinny Del Negro said. “He’ll fight through it and give us what he can give us.” Griffin had a huge game against the Spurs last February when he had 22 points and 20 rebounds but has only notched one double-double in four games this season. Despite the recent struggles, the Clippers are scoring 104.3 points per game, an increase of 6.8 points from last season. The Clippers have been outrebounded in each of their four games this season and are averaging just 36.8 rebounds per game.

Free Pick: Lets make a small play on the Over in this one. The Spurs have been more of an uptempo team these days and they come in averaging a solid 99 ppg. They will be taking on a Clippers team that also like to play the uptempo game as they come in averaging 104.2 ppg overall and 104 ppg at home. The Spurs have played good defense this year, but the Clippers have not, allowing 102 ppg. This should also be a close game, which could give us free throws at the end of the game. Look for this one to just sneak over the total
